The ADEL System FLEX50048A is a high-power 48V DIN rail power supply designed for demanding industrial automation, machinery and control-system applications. Manufactured in Italy, it delivers up to 12A and 600W from a compact 85mm-wide DIN rail enclosure.
The FLEX50048A uses a manually selectable 115 or 230VAC single-phase input and provides a regulated 48VDC output adjustable from 41 to 55VDC. Its flexible power capability supports continuous output across a wide industrial temperature range, together with a temporary power boost for loads with elevated start-up current.
High efficiency, a Power Good relay, Easy Parallel operation and three selectable output-protection modes make the FLEX50048A suitable for industrial computers, communications equipment, drives, actuators and other systems requiring a robust high-voltage DC supply.

The FLEX50048A converts a single-phase AC or compatible high-voltage DC input into a stable 48VDC supply for industrial equipment. Its high power density, compact dimensions and natural-convection cooling make it suitable for control cabinets where both space and reliability are important.

The FLEX50048A provides 48VDC at up to 12A continuously at lower ambient temperatures, equivalent to 600W. The output can be adjusted from 41 to 55VDC to suit different system voltage requirements.
A power-boost function can provide up to 150% of the rated current at 60°C for at least three minutes, helping the supply support equipment with high start-up currents or temporary load peaks.
The FLEX50048A provides three selectable responses to overload and short-circuit conditions: manual reset, hiccup mode and continuous-output mode. This allows the protection behaviour to be matched to the connected load.
A Power Good relay provides a volt-free status signal for PLCs, alarms and supervisory systems. This makes it easier to detect an output-voltage problem or loss of DC power.
Easy Parallel functionality allows compatible units to be connected where additional current capacity or redundancy is required.
