Description
The ADEL System CBI123A is an all-in-one 12V DIN rail DC UPS combining a regulated power supply, intelligent battery charger, backup controller and battery diagnostic system in one compact industrial module. Manufactured in Italy, it is designed for automation, security, telecommunications and infrastructure applications that require dependable 12V DC power.
Operating from a wide 90–305VAC single-phase input, the CBI123A supplies a regulated 12V DC load at up to 3A, providing 36W of rated output power. During a mains failure, the connected battery supports the load immediately with zero switching time, helping critical equipment remain operational.
ADEL System Battery Care technology provides automatic multi-stage charging, battery diagnostics and protection against deep discharge. The unit supports lead-acid, sealed lead-acid, gel, Li-ion and Ni-Cd battery chemistries and includes relay signalling for mains status, backup operation and battery condition.

A 36W all-in-one DC UPS with intelligent battery charging, automatic diagnostics and seamless battery backup for industrial 12V systems.
The CBI123A provides continuous 12V DC power for critical loads. Available power is automatically shared between the connected equipment and battery charging, with priority given to the load. If the AC supply fails, the battery supports the output immediately without interruption.

All-in-One 12V Backup Power
The unit combines a regulated power supply, battery charger, battery test system and DC UPS controller in a single DIN rail enclosure. It supplies up to 3A continuously from the internal power supply and can deliver up to 6A continuously from the battery, with short peak currents up to 9A for demanding loads.
Battery Care Charging and Diagnostics
ADEL System Battery Care technology manages charging through recovery, boost and float stages. Automatic diagnostics monitor battery connection, polarity and condition, while deep-discharge protection helps preserve battery life during extended backup operation.
Battery Start and Alarm Signalling
The CBI123A supports restart from battery when the mains supply is unavailable. Galvanically isolated relay contacts provide signalling for mains or backup status and for discharged or faulty battery conditions.
Compact DIN Rail Installation
The IP20 enclosure is designed for 35mm DIN rail mounting and uses natural convection cooling without a fan. Its compact industrial construction is suitable for installation inside control panels and equipment cabinets.
