The ADEL System FLEX17024A is a compact 24V DIN rail power supply designed for industrial automation, machinery and control-panel applications. Manufactured in Italy, it delivers up to 7.5A and 180W from an extremely compact 55mm-wide enclosure.
The FLEX17024A uses a manually selectable 115 or 230VAC single-phase input and provides a regulated 24VDC output adjustable from 22 to 27VDC. Its flexible-power design provides continuous output from 180W according to ambient temperature, together with a temporary 150% power boost for demanding start-up loads.
High efficiency, a Power Good relay, strong overload capability and three selectable output-protection modes make the FLEX17024A suitable for PLC systems, motors, actuators, industrial computers and other equipment requiring a dependable 24VDC supply.

The FLEX17024A converts a single-phase AC input into a stable 24VDC supply for professional industrial equipment. Its high power density, natural-convection cooling and narrow 55mm housing make it particularly suitable for control cabinets where DIN rail space is limited.

The FLEX17024A provides 7.5A at 24VDC below 40°C, 6A below 50°C and 5A below 60°C. This gives continuous output power from 120W to 180W, depending on ambient temperature.
The power-boost function supplies 150% of the 60°C rated current for at least three minutes. This helps the unit support motors, capacitive equipment and other loads with elevated start-up or temporary current demands.
The FLEX17024A provides three selectable responses to overload and short-circuit conditions: hiccup mode, continuous-output mode and manual reset. This allows its protection behaviour to be matched to the connected load.
A volt-free Power Good relay enables the output-voltage status to be monitored by a PLC, alarm or supervisory system. This is particularly useful in redundant and safety-related control applications.
The supply can start capacitive loads up to 50,000µF, helping it operate reliably with electronic equipment that has substantial input capacitance.
