The ADEL System DFX1512A is an ultra-compact 12V DIN rail power supply designed for building automation, distribution boards and space-restricted control-panel installations. Manufactured in Italy, it combines a wide universal input range with a regulated 12V DC output in a compact, double-insulated enclosure.
The unit provides 12V DC at 1.2A continuously, equivalent to 14.4W at the nominal output voltage. A power-boost capability can supply up to 2A for a maximum of three minutes, helping the DFX1512A support short-duration start-up currents and temporary load peaks.
Its adjustable 10.5 to 14.5V DC output, high capacitive-load start-up capability, natural-convection cooling and automatic hiccup-mode recovery make it suitable for building controls, access systems, communications equipment and other professional 12V DC applications.

The DFX1512A converts a wide-range AC or DC input into a regulated 12V DC supply for professional electronic equipment. Its compact plastic enclosure supports DIN rail or wall mounting, making it especially useful in distribution boards and installations where panel space is limited.

The DFX1512A accepts an 85 to 305VAC input and can also operate from 95 to 370VDC. This broad range supports use across standard 100V, 230V and 277V installations.
The power supply provides 1.2A continuously and can deliver up to 2A for a maximum of three minutes. This temporary boost helps support equipment with elevated start-up currents or intermittent load demands.
Integrated overload, overvoltage and short-circuit protection safeguards the supply and connected equipment. Hiccup-mode operation interrupts the output during a fault and automatically attempts to restore normal operation once the fault condition has cleared.
The compact Class II enclosure supports DIN rail and wall mounting without requiring a protective-earth connection. The unit can start capacitive loads up to 30,000µF, and up to four supplies may be connected in series where a higher combined output voltage is required.
