Description
The ADEL System CBI485A is an all-in-one 48V DIN rail DC UPS combining a regulated power supply, intelligent battery charger, backup controller and battery diagnostic system in one industrial module. Manufactured in Italy, it is designed for automation, telecommunications, security and infrastructure applications that require continuous 48V DC power.
Operating from a wide single-phase AC input, the CBI485A supplies a 48V DC load at up to 5A, providing 240W of rated output power. During a mains failure, the connected battery supports the load immediately, helping to maintain uninterrupted operation of critical equipment.
ADEL System Battery Care technology provides automatic multi-stage charging, battery diagnostics and protection against deep discharge. The unit supports several industrial battery chemistries and includes relay signalling for mains status, backup operation and battery condition.

A 240W all-in-one DC UPS with intelligent battery charging, automatic diagnostics and seamless battery backup for industrial 48V systems.
The CBI485A provides continuous 48V DC power for critical loads. Available power is managed between the connected equipment and battery, with priority given to the load. If the AC supply fails, the battery supports the output immediately without a switching delay.

All-in-One 48V Backup Power
The unit combines a regulated power supply, battery charger, battery test system and DC UPS controller in a single compact enclosure. It supplies up to 5A continuously from the internal power supply and can provide additional load current when supported by the connected battery.

ADEL System Battery Care technology manages charging through recovery, boost and float stages. Automatic diagnostics monitor battery connection, polarity and condition, while deep-discharge protection helps preserve battery life during extended backup operation.
Battery Start and Alarm Signalling
The CBI485A supports restart from battery when the mains supply is unavailable. Galvanically isolated relay contacts provide signalling for mains or backup status and for discharged or faulty battery conditions.
Compact DIN Rail Installation
