Description
The ADEL System CB12245A is a compact DIN rail battery charger for 12V and 24V industrial battery systems. Manufactured in Italy, it combines switch-mode power conversion with ADEL System’s intelligent Battery Care charging and diagnostic technology.
A front-panel jumper allows the charger to be configured for either a 12V battery system at up to 6A or a 24V battery system at up to 5A. Its wide 90 to 305VAC input range supports 115V, 230V and 277V single-phase supplies.
Automatic four-stage IUoUo charging, battery-fault diagnostics and a volt-free alarm relay help maintain dependable battery performance in industrial automation, security, fire protection, telecommunications and standby-power installations.
ADEL System CB12245A 12V / 24V DIN Rail Battery Charger
A compact, configurable industrial battery charger providing up to 6A at 12V or 5A at 24V.
The CB12245A is designed to charge and maintain industrial standby batteries from a single-phase AC supply. Its universal 90 to 305VAC input allows the same unit to operate from common 115V, 230V and 277V mains systems.
Typical Applications
This DIN rail battery charger is suitable for applications including:
- Industrial automation and control panels
- Fire alarm and fire-protection systems
- Security, access-control and CCTV equipment
- Telecommunications and remote monitoring
- Emergency lighting and standby-power systems
- Building-management and infrastructure equipment
Selectable 12V or 24V Operation
The output voltage is selected using a front-panel jumper. In 12V mode, the charger provides up to 6A with a 14.4V boost-charge voltage. In 24V mode, it provides up to 5A with a 28.8V boost-charge voltage.
Automatic Battery Care Charging
ADEL System’s Battery Care technology uses a four-stage IUoUo charging process with recovery, bulk, absorption and float stages. The charging current can be adjusted to suit the connected battery capacity, helping optimise charging time and long-term battery condition.
Battery Diagnostics and Alarm Output
Integrated diagnostics monitor for reversed polarity, battery disconnection, incorrect battery voltage and possible shorted cells. LED blink codes provide clear status information, while an isolated changeover relay allows battery or system faults to be reported to external monitoring equipment.
Manufactured in Italy
The CB12245A is manufactured in Italy by ADEL System for professional industrial battery-charging applications.
