The ADEL System DFX6048A is a compact 48V DIN rail power supply developed for building automation, distribution boards and shallow control-panel installations. Manufactured in Italy, it combines a wide universal input range with a stable 48V DC output in a slim, double-insulated enclosure.
The unit delivers 48V DC at up to 1.25A, providing 65W of continuous output power. A temporary power-boost capability allows the DFX6048A to support short-duration load peaks up to 72W, helping equipment with demanding start-up currents operate reliably.
Its adjustable DC output, high capacitive-load start-up capability, natural-convection cooling and automatic hiccup-mode recovery make it well suited to building controls, access systems, communications equipment and other professional 48V DC applications.

The DFX6048A converts a wide-range AC or DC input into a regulated 48V DC supply for professional electronic equipment. Its compact plastic enclosure is designed for either DIN rail or flat-surface mounting, making it particularly useful in distribution boards and installations where panel depth is limited.

The DFX6048A accepts a universal 85 to 305VAC input and can also operate from 95 to 370VDC. This broad operating range supports use across standard 100V, 230V and 277V installations.
In addition to its 65W continuous rating, the DFX6048A can provide up to 72W for short-duration load peaks. This capability supports equipment with higher start-up or inrush requirements without the need to select an unnecessarily oversized supply.
Short-circuit and overload protection use hiccup-mode operation with automatic restart. If a fault occurs, the output is interrupted and the power supply repeatedly attempts to restore normal operation once the fault condition has cleared.
The compact Class II plastic enclosure supports DIN rail and flat-surface mounting. The unit can start highly capacitive loads up to 30,000µF, and up to four supplies may be connected in series where the application requires it.
