Description
The ADEL System CBI2420A is a high-power all-in-one 24V DIN rail DC UPS combining a regulated power supply, intelligent battery charger, backup controller and real-time battery diagnostic system in one industrial module. Manufactured in Italy, it is designed for automation, security, telecommunications and infrastructure applications that require reliable high-current 24V DC power.
Operating from a wide 90-305VAC single-phase input, the CBI2420A supplies a regulated 24V DC load at up to 20A, providing 480W of continuous output power. With a connected battery, the unit can support up to 40A continuously and deliver a 60A peak for four seconds, helping equipment with high start-up or transient current demands.
ADEL System Battery Care technology provides automatic multi-stage charging, flat-battery recovery, battery diagnostics and deep-discharge protection. Modbus RTU communication and isolated relay outputs provide system status information for integration into industrial control and monitoring systems.

A 480W all-in-one industrial DC UPS with high-current battery support, intelligent charging, automatic diagnostics and Modbus RTU communication.
The CBI2420A provides continuous 24V DC power for demanding industrial loads. Available power is automatically shared between the connected equipment and battery charging, with priority given to the load. If the AC supply fails, the connected battery supports the output immediately without switching delay.

High-Current 24V Backup Power
The unit supplies up to 20A continuously from its internal power supply. When a suitable battery is connected, it can support up to 40A continuously and provide a 60A peak for four seconds, making it suitable for loads with high inrush or temporary overload requirements.
Battery Care Charging and Diagnostics
ADEL System Battery Care technology manages recovery, boost and float charging stages while continuously monitoring battery connection, polarity and condition. Integrated diagnostics help identify sulfated batteries, shorted cells, reverse polarity and battery disconnection.
Modbus RTU and Alarm Signalling
Modbus RTU communication enables operating data and status information to be integrated into supervisory and automation systems. Galvanically isolated relay contacts provide local signalling for mains or backup status and discharged or faulty battery conditions.
Rugged DIN Rail Installation
The IP20 enclosure is designed for 35mm DIN rail mounting and uses natural convection cooling without a fan. Its robust construction is suitable for installation inside industrial control panels and equipment cabinets.
