Description
The ADEL System CBI1235A is a high-power all-in-one 12V DIN rail DC UPS combining a regulated power supply, intelligent battery charger, backup controller and automatic battery diagnostic system in one industrial module. Manufactured in Italy, it is designed for demanding automation, security, telecommunications and infrastructure applications that require dependable 12V DC power.
Operating from a single-phase 90–305VAC input, the CBI1235A supplies a regulated 12V DC load at up to 35A, providing 420W of rated output power. During a mains failure, the connected battery supports the load immediately with zero switching time, helping critical equipment remain operational.
ADEL System Battery Care technology provides automatic multi-stage charging, battery diagnostics and protection against deep discharge. The unit supports lead-acid, sealed lead-acid, gel, Ni-Cd and lithium battery chemistries and includes Modbus RTU communication and relay signalling for mains status, backup operation and battery condition.

A 420W all-in-one DC UPS with intelligent battery charging, automatic diagnostics and high-current battery backup for demanding industrial 12V systems.
The CBI1235A provides continuous 12V DC power for critical loads. Available power is automatically shared between the connected equipment and battery charging, with priority given to the load. If the AC supply fails, the battery supports the output immediately without interruption.

All-in-One High-Power Backup System
The unit combines a regulated power supply, battery charger, battery test system and DC UPS controller in a single DIN rail enclosure. It supplies up to 35A from the internal power supply and can provide short-duration battery-assisted peak currents up to 105A for four seconds to support demanding start-up loads.
Battery Care Charging and Diagnostics
ADEL System Battery Care technology manages charging through recovery, boost, bulk and float stages. Automatic diagnostics monitor battery connection, polarity and condition, while deep-discharge protection helps preserve battery life during extended backup operation.
Communication and Alarm Signalling
Modbus RTU communication enables remote monitoring and integration with industrial control systems. Galvanically isolated relay contacts provide signalling for mains or backup status and for discharged or faulty battery conditions.
Robust DIN Rail Installation
The IP20 metal enclosure is designed for 35mm DIN rail mounting and uses natural convection cooling without a fan. Its rugged construction is suitable for installation inside industrial control panels and equipment cabinets.
